These terms cover your use of Padlord (padlord.co.uk): the portfolio tracker, the free calculators and tools, and the built-in assistant. Padlord is built and operated by BlooSprout Ltd, a UK company; "we" in these terms means BlooSprout Ltd. By using Padlord you agree to them. They're written to be read, not skimmed past, so they're short.
What Padlord is
Padlord helps UK landlords track buy-to-let portfolios: values, cashflow, yields, mortgages, compliance deadlines and documents, plus calculators for modelling deals and tax. Some features work without an account; the full product requires one.
Not financial, tax or legal advice
Everything Padlord produces (calculator results, tax estimates, assistant answers, articles) is general information, not advice. Figures are estimates built on the numbers you enter and on rates and rules that change. Always confirm anything that matters with a qualified mortgage broker, accountant or solicitor before acting on it. You stay responsible for your own decisions and for meeting your legal obligations as a landlord.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself and give us accurate information. You're responsible for what happens under your account. If you believe someone else has accessed it, change your password and let us know.
Your data
The portfolio data and documents you add are yours. You give us permission to store and process them purely to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy. You can export your data at any time from within the app.
Acceptable use
Don't break the law with Padlord, don't try to access other people's data, don't probe, overload or disrupt the service, don't scrape it, and don't abuse the assistant (usage limits apply). We can suspend accounts that do.
Availability and changes
Padlord is provided as-is and we don't promise it will always be available or error-free. We improve it continuously and may change or withdraw features. If we ever discontinue the service we'll give you a reasonable chance to export your data.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for losses arising from decisions made in reliance on estimates, calculations or assistant output, or for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't legally be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Ending things
You can stop using Padlord and ask us to delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, with notice where reasonable.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes belong to its courts. If we change the terms materially we'll update this page and the date above. Questions? Email vaibhav@bloosprout.co.uk or see the contact page.
